Alta Care Group Head Start

Alta Head Start/Early Head Start is a pre-school program — licensed by the Ohio Department of Jobs & Family Services — that is designed to improve the quality of life for children ages birth to 5 years old and give them a “Head Start” in education.

Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Youngstown, we believe that every child, regardless of income or life circumstance, should be empowered to excel in school, become good citizens and lead healthy, productive lives. At our Clubs, children are endowed with the confidence they need to stay out of trouble, make good decisions, and to chart a course toward a healthy and productive adulthood.

We provide sports development, training, and mental health services. We target athletes aged 5 through 25, but provide both  services to any and all persons  interested.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families

Ohio Works First (OWF) is the financial assistance portion of the state's Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program. It provides cash benefits to eligible families for up to 36 months.

Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of children, primarily through a professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationship with a caring volunteer

Camp Fitch

Serving over 18,000 people per year, we welcome members of the Camp Fitch Bunch 12 months per year through our traditional Summer Camp, Outdoor Education, Retreats and Weekend getaways, Adventure Trips, Farm and STEM programs, or just hiking the grounds and reconnecting with nature.
